The creators of this website are Tom and Denise Anderson from IBEW local 82 Dayton, Ohio. Better known on many jobsites around the country as “The Andersons”. We travel the country with our 5th wheel and our dog Prim (a 7 pound Yorkie). We have met a lot of great brothers and sisters during our travels and just wanted to come up with a way of helping out with the trials and tribulations of being on the road. That’s where this website and all of you come in. Some of the hardest parts of being on the road are finding temporary housing when you get there, knowing the good places to eat and shop, also knowing which ones to stay away from, finding places to do laundry, banking etc. This website is just a forum to help us help each other. It can also be a place just to keep track of each other and socialize a bit. Enjoy it. Keep it clean, and be kind to one another.
How it Works
To begin click on the “Forums” button. This will take you to a list of U.S. States. Just click on the state where the jobsite you are interested in is located. When the topics page comes up click on the job site you are interested in if it is already listed. If it isn’t click on “Create a new topic” and start one by using the jobsite name as the title. If you do register please create a new post with the name of the job you are on or are wanting to go to. This will help get the ball rolling.
Anyone can read the topics that are already listed. If you want to be able to post you will have to register. It just takes a minute and everyone is welcome. You will get an Email where you can create your own password. If you have any trouble please use the contact us page to let us know
One Final Note
This website is designed for helping each other navigate our way through new surroundings. Please use it for that purpose mainly. It is not meant for a place to complain about each other or the jobs that we are on or the contractor that we are looking for. There are plenty of sites for that purpose if that’s what you want to do. We hope to have links established in the near future to help you find them. Which brings us to our final point. This website is definitely still under construction. It was just started in March 2016. Please be patient and use our contact page to help us address any problems you are having with it. Your help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you for visiting us and be careful out there.
